Kanji Reading Practice #25 - Products 視線をカット

The Kanji Readings and Meanings (this usage):

視 (シ) - look at; see

線 (セン) – line; track

部 (へ) – part; department

屋 (や) – roof

明 (メイ) – bright

The Words:

視線 (シセン) – line of sight

カット – cut (reduce)

だけど – however; but

部屋 (へや) – room; chamber; apartment

明るい – bright; well-lit; light

The Meaning:

視線をカットだけどお部屋は明るい。

It cuts the line of sight; however, the room is bright.

Visibility is reduced, but the room is still bright.
