上 (うえ) -  up, over, above

電 (デン) -  electricity

子 (こ) – child; kid; youngster

 

The Words:

おもて面 (おもてめん) – front side; the front

この – this

面 (めん) - side

上にして (うえにして) – up (turn it up; up)

電子レンジ (でんしレンジ) -  microwave (electric range)

へ - towards

The Meaning:

おもて面- front side; the front

この面を上にして電子レンジへ – place this side down in the microwave oven
